The mission of the OODH is to improve the health and wellness of Oregonians with disabilities through health promotion, improving access to health care and emergency preparedness readiness and planning for PWD, surveillance and evaluation, dissemination, and policy development activities that address health disparities among people with disabilities. The purpose of this position is to ensure the day-to-day operation and management of the Oregon Office on Disability and Health (OODH). OODH is housed within OHSUs Institute on Development and Disability, where researchers, clinicians, and other professionals strive to improve the lives of people with disabilities. The mission of OODH is to promote and maximize the health of people with disabilities in Oregon. Via funding from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), we engage in training and technical assistance activities for public health entities and community members; conduct public health data analysis and program evaluation activities; and support policy, systems and environmental changes that address health inequities impacting people with disabilities.
