Cornell Health is currently looking to fill multiple Temporary Physician jobs for the Spring academic semester. Physicians at Cornell Health provide direct ambulatory primary patient care to students of the university. Each physician has responsibility to provide or arrange for comprehensive care for a patient's holistic needs - including their medical, mental health, emotional and social issues. All physicians collaborate with community and other Cornell Health physician colleagues, health associates, nursing staff, ancillary and support staff, professional psychotherapist staff, physical therapists and health educators to provide comprehensive care to students as patients. In their clinical work with students, physicians are involved with the developmental, educational, emotional, psychological, social and academic aspects of students' lives, and often are called upon to interact with parents, faculty and other professionals, both on and off campus in a patient-centered medical home model of primary care delivery. Please note: These positions are temporary jobs, with an anticipated start date in mid-January 2021 and ending at the end of May 2021.
