The Department of Health Management and Policy in the College of Health and Human Services at the University of New Hampshire (UNH) invites applications for a full-time, open rank, faculty position to support its educational programs in health data science, public health and health administration through teaching research and service. The position will be responsible for teaching courses in health data science and analytical methods in the Masters in Health Data Science program, the Masters of Public Health program, and the undergraduate program in Health Management and Policy. The Department (http://chhs.unh.edu/hmp/) offers an AUPHA-certified Baccalaureate program in Health Management and Policy on the Durham, New Hampshire campus; a CEPH-accredited MPH program and a Graduate Public Health Certificate Program at our urban campus in Manchester, New Hampshire; and a new M.S. program and Graduate Certificate in Health Data Science through UNH Online. Excellent opportunities for research collaboration exist through a number of Schools and institutes housed in the University, including: the Carsey School of Public Policy, the Institute for Health Policy and Practice, and the Institute on Disability.

• Candidates must possess an earned doctorate in biostatistics / statistics, health informatics, health data science, health care management and/or finance, public health, population health, or a closely related discipline. • Candidates with evidence of successful teaching experience are valued as are ones prepared to engage in collaborative research in a multidisciplinary setting. • Candidates should be able to demonstrate a commitment to sustaining and advancing the goals of the institution’s diversity of students, faculty, staff, and community groups.
