We are looking for a part-time Senior Social Worker I to join the School-Based Health Centers located in our Elementary School teams at Warner and Shortlidge Elementary Schools. This position provides clinical mental health services and behavioral support to the students that we serve in addition to collaboration with the SBHC team and School staff. School-Based Health Centers (SBHC) are a partnership between Christiana Care Health Services, a School District, and the Delaware Division of Public Health. The SBHC provides health care via a multi-disciplinary team consisting of a Nurse Practitioner (Advanced Practice Clinician), a Licensed Clinical Social Worker/Licensed Professional Counselor of Mental Health, and a Registered Nurse. Our Elementary School teams also have access to a Pediatrician as well. Each SBHC is led by a Program Manager, who oversees the day to day practice operations of the centers and collaborates with the School Administrations. All members of the team work together to build a partnership within the school environment, and their primary players, to support and address all the needs of the children we serve.
