Project Support 55-60% - Support center’s grant funded projects in Iowa and Minnesota. Work includes:
- Supporting the day-to-day management of 5-6 grant funding projects as a project assistant
- Attending meetings with clinicians and other stakeholders, taking action-oriented notes
- Work closely with colleagues to develop and facilitate MATEC sponsored activities including webinars, video conference meetings, written materials, evaluation documents,
- Prepare logistics for training events (identifying topic, securing speakers, venue, meals, preparing and sending invitations, managing registration, etc.)
- Complete administrative tasks outside of what is required for the projects this position will lead (such as contracting, travel reimbursement, speaker fees, etc.)
- Other grant requirements as assigned: reporting, data entry, grant writing, evaluation, etc.
Project Management 30-35% - Serve as main point of contact and lead 1-2 grant funded project(s). Work includes:
- Identify, plan, and facilitate individual and group educational opportunities for health care and social service providers in Minnesota, such as: didactic trainings, interactive trainings, webinars, clinical preceptorships, technical assistance, consultations, and case presentations
- Work closely with project leadership including the director, project managers, clinical advisors, and faculty to design, revise, implement, expand, adapt, evaluate, report, and disseminate a tailored educational and capacity building program for healthcare professionals
- Position will conduct day-to-day and overall management of the project(s) with the intent to meet project goals and maintain excellent working relationships with stakeholders in Minnesota
- Administrative- ongoing email and phone communication, grant reporting, project tracking, needs assessments, evaluation, accounting paperwork, data entry/maintenance, etc.
Travel 10% - Travel as needed throughout Minnesota and occasionally Iowa or other Midwestern states for in person meetings and trainings. ***NOTE: This aspect of the job is currently on hold due to COVID-19. Travel will resume when is safe as determined by both employee and MATEC
