![]() University of California Los Angeles Requisition Number: JPF06069 The UCLA Undergraduate Education Initiatives unit seeks a lecturer for Spring Quarter (AY 2020-21) to teach a seminar as part of the General Education UCLA Cluster Program. This position includes developing and teaching a seminar course for freshman students with varied backgrounds focusing on a topic related to methods, applications, and implications of biotechnology and of ethical, social, and political implications as well as biological underpinnings. Specifically, the seminar will utilize a public health approach to investigate women's health from biological, sociological, and cultural perspectives, with an emphasis on developmental theories surrounding the effects of early life conditions on adult health. This position will involve working closely with students on their writing.
