The Program Coordinator II will be responsible for: - Coordinating activities and daily operations of a program. Assisting in the development of new or revision of program goals and objectives
- Providing guests with information about attractions, facilities, services and activities in or outside of the hospital.
- Preparing or assisting in preparation of proposal for funding and/or funding continuation from outside sponsors
- Conferring with and advising staff and others to provide technical advice, problem solving assistance, answers to questions and program goals; referring to appropriate department person when unable to respond
- Preparing periodic reports and records on program activities, progress, status or other special reports for management or outside agencies
- May evaluate program effectiveness to develop improved methods
- May review applications or other program documents independently or in conjunction with supervisor to determine acceptance or make decisions pertaining to program
- May assist in the coordination of recruitment efforts
- Assisting with written communication and promotional literature
- May plan workshops, meetings or conferences, coordinates logistics, scheduling and participant communications
- Interacts and maintains liaison with staff, faculty and outside/community agencies in facilitating program objectives.
- May supervise staff
To qualify, you must have: - Associate's degree with 2 years of relevant experience. Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Work required the ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing and provide empathy in difficult interpersonal situations
- Work requires the ability to work with diverse internal and external constituencies
