Job Summary: Provide leadership and strategic planning for the Student Emergency Services, Relationship Violence and Sexual Assault Prevention (RVSP) Program, LGBTQA, Collegiate Recovery, Mavs Stand Up Bystander Intervention Program, including prevention programming, campus wide campaigns, marketing of support services, peer education and advocacy programs. This staff member will be the primary driver for the Community that Cares campus wide support initiative. Full oversight of daily operations, administration of programs, policies and practices, assessment, and training and professional development for staff. Dedicated to a Community that cares, cultivating a positive, safe and welcoming campus environment. Essential Duties: Oversee the development of an on-campus food pantry/necessities market and clothing closet. Provide leadership in the fundraising and development efforts to fully support our student emergency assistance program. Provide leadership and supervision to staff in implementation of advocacy and support services and prevention programming. Develop and maintain department policy and procedures related to case management, referral process, intake forms and crisis response. Conduct a variety of assessment to better understand the diverse needs of the UTA community, implementation of Campus Climate Surveys. Manage the Community That Cares campaign and programming, including development of marketing campaigns, trainings for faculty, staff and students and orientation programs. Coordinates strategic planning and unit effectiveness processes, writing departmental assessment and priorities, ensuring department is in line with strategic planning; including writing reports, developing learning outcomes and overseeing program evaluation. Chair a university wide sexual assault, interpersonal violence and bias incident response team, working closely with Title IX, Student Conduct, University Police Department and Crime Victim Services. Coordinates and oversees the administrative operations of the department. Prepares budgets and approves expenditures. Provide leadership in the marketing of services and programs, including a review of website content. Establish and maintain liaison relationships to departments serving specialized campus populations such as new students, international students, and students with disabilities, DACA Dreamer's Council and athletes. Assist in the annual review of the university sexual misconduct policy working closely with Title IX. Required Qualifications: Master’s degree in higher education, student personnel services or health promotion, social work, counseling, addiction/alcohol studies, psychology, public health or related field. Three (3) years of supervision of professional or graduate level staff. Five (5) years of experience in an advisory, administrative or educational capacity with college students or adolescents in community groups. Equivalent combination of relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate. Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills. Knowledge of federal mandates and best practice in the field of violence prevention programming and threat assessment. Experience working with college students in a programmatic and advisory capacity. Preferred Qualifications: Experience working with college/university students in sexual assault prevention and experience in social work field as a case manager. Two (2) years or more providing assessments, interventions or counseling. Understanding of Title IX and Clery Act.
