Position Summary: Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey is seeking a Per Diem Research Teaching Specialist V for the Cancer Health Equity and Engagement department at Rutgers, Cancer Institute of New Jersey (CINJ). The per diem Research Teaching Specialist V will be responsible for coordinating project activities for community-based HPV-related cancer prevention and control among Spanish-speaking populations. The Research Teaching Specialist V will play an integral role with protocol implementation and will work closely with principal investigator, clinical staff, and other research team members to assist with recruiting and conducting focus groups/interviews with Spanish-speaking participants. This is a per diem grant-funded position. The Principal Investigator's work is focused on HPV-related cancer prevention and screening among vulnerable populations. The research projects include developing education interventions for adolescent HPV vaccination and for follow-up care after cervical cancer screening. Virtual and local data collection includes study sites in Middlesex, Essex, and Hudson counties. Among the key duties of this position are the following:
