This Quality Improvement Data Analyst in Neuroscience will: - Advise and collaborate with the Neuroscience Center staff on data analytics. Process data requests.
- Provide analysis, management, and methodological support for the development of measurement plans for performance indicators, including process and outcome measures.
- Prepare written and graphical reports utilizing appropriate QI data analytics techniques including development of dashboards to track performance and highlight opportunities for improvement.
- Provide QI analytics education and mentorship to faculty, residents/fellows, nursing, and other staff.
- Support management of quality improvement initiatives using project management and QI methodologies.
To qualify, you must have: - The knowledge of theories, principles, and methods utilized in the development of quality improvement metrics health typically acquired through completion of a Bachelor's degree, including coursework in biostatistics and data management. 1-2 years of related experience in a health care-related setting or a related advanced degree is preferred.
- The analytical skills to resolve complex problems requiring the use of scientific, mathematical, or technical principles and in-depth, experienced-based knowledge.
- Communication skills in order to effectively deal with conflicting views or issues and mediate fair solutions or well-developed writing skills. The ability to work independently.
- A strong interest and understanding of data.
