Hiring Range: $51,252.35 - $71,753.29/Annually THIS IS A GRANT-FUNDEDPOSITION. JOBSUMMARY/ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: The Program Evaluation and ResearchSpecialist leads and develops the implementation of the evaluation planand data tracking system for the Tennessee Clinical and TranslationalScience Institute (TN-CTSI), a state-wide, clinical, and translational researchresource for research staff, students, and faculty. The TN-CTSI seeks toimprove research quality and efficiency as well as accelerate the pace withwhich scientific discoveries are translated to clinical and community settingsto improve public health. This position is responsible for providing theevaluation strategy and approach and developing and implementing policies andprocedures that will be used to evaluate and track the TN-CTSI's progresstoward those goals. The position will also be responsible for developinggoals and identifying milestones and metrics for the TN-CTSI programs;directing the collection and reporting of process improvement metrics andoutcome data; analyzing and interpreting quantitative and qualitative data; andutilizing data collection methods, such as interviews and focus groups, tocollect data consistent with the evaluation plan. The Program Evaluation andResearch Specialist will also be responsible for working with the CTSICo-Directors to develop novel approaches to program evaluation. DUTIESAND RESPONSIBILITIES:
