This DACCI Project Specialist will be responsible for: - Working closely with team members to support one or more projects/programs by developing project charters or frameworks that align to DACCI goals and strategy.
- Providing project management and analytics support including development and documentation of project plans and timelines, and measuring success of the initiatives.
- Investigating complex issues, synthesizing data and articulating findings for various audiences. Modifying and administering tools or processes needed for accountable care or clinical integration within the Boston Children's Hospital system and with other organizations.
- Supporting DACCI team collaboration, key workgroups, steering committees, provider partners and leaders to effectively support the design of projects, pilots, and programs, including learning and applying new content expertise related to the initiatives, to move work forward.
To qualify, you must have: - Working knowledge of electronic medical records (EMR), claims data and risk contracts in healthcare, or quality improvement is preferred.
- Knowledge of clinical concepts, terminology, workflows, preferably in pediatrics or child services.
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, and project management software a plus.
- Excellent communication skills including an ability to understand and explain complex concepts including presentations of a body of work to key partners and stakeholders, orally, in writing and in presentations.
- Associate's Degree Required.
- One year of experience in healthcare operations, project coordination or project management required.
