Position Summary Columbia University researchers are conducting a national study to learn how dentists engage families of young children with tooth decay to promote preventive behaviors. This study requires Interviewers to conduct 45-60 minute structured video-call interviews with dentists and hygienists during times that they are available (including evenings and weekends across all US time zones). Interviewers will manage their own schedules to achieve at least 4 interviews each week; record and code responses; and enter and electronically transmit data to the research team averaging 20 hours of availability each week This position is part time with flexible hours. Because Interviewers have direct contact with dentist participants, strong professional, visual presentation, interpersonal and interview skills are paramount. Applicants need to demonstrate that they successfully manage their time among competing priorities to meet deadlines while remaining flexible to participant availability. Applicants should be team players who work collaboratively and independently under the direction of the Project Manager. Successful candidates do not need to have content expertise in dentistry but should value health promotion and disease prevention. Responsibilities
