The Boston Children's Hospital Center of Excellence for Pediatric Quality Measurement (CEPQM) has been funded through the national Pediatric Quality Measures Program (PQMP) to disseminate and implement two of the measure sets developed: pediatric readmissions measures (all-condition and lower respiratory infection) and a pediatric inpatient care experience measure, the Child Hospital Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (Child HCAHPS) Survey. We are now in the second round of funding that extends our prior work that developed pediatric quality of care measures for broad national use. CEPQM recently received funding to develop a telemedicine pediatric patient experience survey which will be one of the main projects of the coming year. The Clinical Research Manager will manage CEPQM and other Division projects. The position involves working closely with faculty and project staff. S/he facilitates and coordinates analytical support to research and clinical resources and initiatives. The Clinical Research Manager will be responsible for: - Reporting to the Core Leader/Director.
- Collaborating with Principal Investigators and coordinators for management of research studies across departments and institutions and acting as liaison to maintain communication between study staff and Clinical Research Program personnel.
- Managing, problem solving, providing guidance and implementing procedures for clinical research projects, interfacing directly with Principal Investigators and study sponsors to manage and advise on trial related activities for large or multicenter protocols.
- Managing trial data collection, organization and reporting, including providing data reports, updates and monitoring activities utilizing the resources of the Clinical Research Program data managers, statisticians, clinical research specialists, and clinical study monitors.

The knowledge of theories, principles, and concepts acquired through completion of a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 8 years of relevant work experience or Master of Science and 4 yrs of relevant work experience.
