Full time social work position (40 hrs.) needed to provide a range of clinical social work services to children, adolescents and families in the Endocrine outpatient program, with a focus in diabetes patients.
This Endocrine/Diabetes Clinical Social Worker will be responsible for: - Psychosocial assessments, and counseling and crisis intervention.
- Resource information, referrals and facilitation of use of hospital and community resources.
- Psychoeducation and psychosocial consultation to the multidisciplinary team.
To qualify, you must have: - Master's degree in Social Work, LCSW. LICSW licensure preferred in the state of Massachusetts.
- Experience in medical environment and with child protection issues helpful.
- Flexibility and ability to work in fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Excellent communication skills necessary.
* Schedule is 40 hours/week with Thursday at Waltham; Tuesday off; and the remaining days at BCH Main Campus, Boston *
