The Graham School is currently seeking qualified applicants for a part-time position to teach in our Master of Science in Threat and Response Management program. Current University faculty and staff, as well as professionals working in relevant positions outside of the University, are eligible to apply. Courses are offered at our campus in downtown Chicago. The face of emergency management is changing rapidly. Alongside traditional threats and disasters, governments, businesses and communities are facing emerging challenges of climate change, infrastructure protection and cybersecurity. Combining academic inquiry with emergency management practice, the Master of Science in Threat and Response Management program helps students to prepare for, respond to, and recover from crises and disaster. Applicants must have relevant experience in emergency management, social sciences, public policy, public health, legal and ethical issues, homeland security, or a related field. The program operates in an executive format and includes nine (9) hours of in-person instruction one three-day weekend each month on Thursday, Friday, Saturday; morning, afternoon and evening hours. Courses meet for three consecutive months during each 10-week quarter for a total of 27 instructional hours. Responsibilities

Qualified applicants must have a graduate-level degree in a relevant field, PhD is preferred. Candidates with prior teaching experience and/or relevant practical experience are strongly preferred.
