Minimum qualifications
The ideal candidate should have a background in biostatistics or epidemiology. The candidate should be aware of the resources and expertise available at the University of Minnesota School of Public Health. The candidate should have experience in clinical studies involving the various administrative and specialty focused databases, including study design, data extraction, data processing, data analysis, and data interpretation. Expertise with R and/or Matlab programming is a pre-requisite. The candidate is expected to partner with clinicians to study clinical questions that would impact the delivery of care in neurosurgery. The candidate should have experience presenting research results through publications and presentations as well as grant submissions. |
