Requirements Associate Director, Healthy Families Initiative - Georgetown University Law Center The Associate Director will collaborate with the O'Neill Institute Initiative Director, to identify critical issues, conduct the highest level of policy analysis, develop scholarship, and make that scholarship actionable by engaging in policy solution-oriented actions. Towards this end, the Initiative Director and Associate Director will jointly work with the Healthy Families team to develop comprehensive analysis of academic strategies, and other activities that support the analysis and implementation of effective public health strategies. They will identify promising policies and policy proposals and formulate innovative policy responses, develop scholarship to introduce, elaborate upon, and share these ideas with the health community, collaborate with public health thought leaders, undertake communication efforts, and engage policymakers to act on proposed responses in the near-term as well as, by influencing the discourse, seek to affect policy responses over time. The Associate Director will work on funded projects and/or academic research projects. Work includes the development of proposals and grant writing, scholarship and substantive project research.
