This Emergency Management Coordinator will be responsible for:

• Planning response and recovery activities both within Boston Children's Hospital and in coordination with local and state agencies.
• Coordinating, under general supervision of the program manager, all activities and functions of the emergency management program to ensure that goals and objectives specified for the program are accomplished in accordance with established priorities, time limitations, funding limitations or other specifications.

• A Bachelor's degree required. Master's degree in Healthcare Administration, Public Health, or Business highly preferred.
• Two years of experience preferred in the areas of project management, emergency preparedness, public administration, education, adult training or closely related area.
• The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, communicate effectively both orally and in writing and provide empathy in difficult interpersonal situations, and the ability to work with diverse internal and external constituencies.
• Strong project management skills; and strong presentation skills (use of MS office suite).
• Data or research experience preferred.
• Previous Hospital Experience preferred.
