DUTIES: - Work closely with AEP/PREP Project Staff to develop new advocacy, outreach and prevention education materials for the PREP Initiative. - Attend training and seminars on community health, HIV/AIDS, Sexually Transmitted Disease, Teaching Skills and Evidence Based Programs. - Conduct recruitment for program (new members and community workshops). Escort at risk teens to partnership clinics for HIV Counseling and Testing, Pregnancy Testing, medical services and STI testing. - Co-facilitate evidence based curriculum with staff. - Lead THEO Town Hall meeting/World AIDS Day Event at SUNY Downstate Medical Center. - Participate in STAR Community Advisory Board, BATES Youth Network, leadrship group and community boards. - Plan, develop, implement and monitor all social media outreach including The Chat. (DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE ABOVE POSITION DESCRIPTION) QUALIFICATIONS: Current High School student or College student with an interest in Public Health, Counseling, Training or Education.
