We are recruiting for a full-time (100% FTE, 12-month service period), tenure-track faculty position in the University of Washington School of Medicine's Department of Bioethics & Humanities at the Assistant Professor level. Responsibilities of this position include:

The successful candidate will be a skilled communicator motivated to share ideas with others by means of peer-reviewed publishing, interdisciplinary collaboration, and establishing robust extramural funding. Eligible candidates must have completed a doctoral or terminal degree in a bioethics-related discipline (e.g., PhD, MD, JD, or foreign equivalent) and have demonstrated expertise in bioethics through education, teaching, and/or publishing. Candidates with backgrounds in fields that intersect with bioethics research and scholarship, such as law, medicine, information science, neuroscience, public health, philosophy, genetics, nursing, social work, the humanities, and social sciences are welcome to apply.
