Department Name: 7P140:DEPT OF PREVENTIVE MED & ENVIR Job Summary: The College of Public Health is seeking a Prevention Coordinator that will direct all activities dictated by CDC-RFS-PS17-1702 – Improving Hepatitis B and Hepatitis C Care Cascades.This position will focus on increased testing and diagnosis and focus on individuals co-infected with HIV. Responsibilities include: implementation of grant activities; coordination with internal programs and external agencies who provide services to adults at high risk for hepatitis B, hepatitis C and HIV infection; develop educational materials for both providers and persons at risk; coordinate and provide webinars and in-person trainings for screening, diagnosing, handling co-infections, reporting and linking to care; complete evaluation of and report on prevention activities, with a focus on co-infection. This position will be responsible for archiving all training materials and dates disseminated, including the number of individuals reached, and providing updates of all activities will be summarized in an annual performance report.
