The American Occupational Therapy Association, Inc. (AOTA) has an exciting new position available – Vice President, Practice Engagement & Capacity Building. This position will be responsible for developing, implementing, and directing Association activities and projects related to advancing occupational therapy practice through standards setting and professional advocacy. Specific projects will relate to the following:
The successful candidate should have strong leadership, management, and communication skills, as well as the ability to manage multiple large projects effectively. Initial certification as an occupational therapy practitioner. Doctoral degree in occupational therapy, public health, or other compatible field is highly desired. Requires a minimum of 10 + years of related work experience, or a combination of formal education and experience. Volunteer leadership in Association activities is desirable.The candidate must be technologically proficient in a Windows environment.
