ResponsibilitiesTo scrub all cases that come into the Operating Room. T o utilize time when not doing cases stocking supplies, organizing various supplies in department, picking cases, setting up cases and other miscellaneous taskds as assigned by charge nurse. Maintains standards of nursing care, while a member of the surgical team, under the supervision and direction of professional nurses and in accordance with approved policies, procedures and schedules. QualificationsEducation: High School Diploma or GED required. Graduate of an approved school of surgical technology or equivalent. Experience: 2-3 years of scrub experience in multiple specialties including general/laparoscopic, OB/GYN, ortho, spine, vascular/endovascular. Experience in Cardio/thoracic and Robotics a plus. Demonstrates ability to work in demanding and stressful situations. Licenses/Certificates: Certification a plus. Current Healthcare Provider CPR required.
