The American Urological Association (AUA), the premier urologic association providing support to the urologic community, is currently searching for a detail-oriented candidate for our Statistician/Research Manager position.
In General The Statistician position is designed to implement a strategic plan for monitoring data collection and analysis in order to support the practice and profession of urology and improve patient outcomes and public health. The incumbent is an expert in understanding, analyzing, and reporting clinical and patient outcome data. This work will produce a variety of knowledge products (e.g., position papers, research reports, slide sets, talking points, summaries of data, abstracts, manuscripts) using statistical approaches such as longitudinal analysis, mixed effect modeling, logistic regression, and the broad model building techniques to identify disease-specific treatment patterns and trends.
