Location: Hyde Park Campus Job Description: Unit-specific Responsibilities 1) The Senior Manager of Supportive & Network Services (SMSNS) will oversee the Supportive Services and Network Testing teams. 2) Create and implement procedures and protocols regarding programming, program development, reporting to funders, project management, and supervising direct reports. 3) Supervision will include clinical, weekly or bi-weekly supervision for all staff, processing and debriefing client encounters, providing consultation for client crises, and holding regularly scheduled team meetings. 4) CCHE works with black, gay and bisexual men and other men who have sex with men and black, transgender women living on the South side of Chicago. 5) The SMSNS will oversee supportive services programing. 6) This includes: resource counseling, or case management services for clients; âœon callâ crisis intervention for clients who indicate suicidal ideation, past or current child abuse or neglect, current or past elderly abuse or neglect, and current domestic violence situations; comprehensive PrEP linkage and retention in care programming; and a sex-positive LGBTQ sex education program. 7) The Network Testing programming that the SMSNS will oversee includes: drop in and outreach-based STI and HIV testing services, including phlebotomy; HIV notification, linkage to care services for treatment and PrEP services, and STI treatment notification and linkage. 8) Collaboration is a key component of our work and is a part of this position. 9) The SMSNS should actively pursue required knowledge and skills for professional development. 10) The candidate must stay informed about the resources available on the south side of Chicago that serve our population and inform the team on opportunities for collaboration. 11) The SMSNS will oversee work conducted over the phone or in person and must be able to support their team in both capacities. 12) This candidate will also oversee and support with 'on call' responsibilities for those who have indicated suicidal ideation or potential child abuse/ neglect and will conduct assessments and safety plans and will provide additional consultation and debriefing for the team when necessary.
