Advertised Summary Job Description: The Department of Epidemiology at the Mailman School of Public Health is looking to hire a student on a casual basis to contribute to a multicenter study investigating the natural history of body composition and physical functioning among older adults at risk for mobility disability and sarcopenia. This position will work with the PI, Clinical Research Coordinator and other staff/investigators. Duties of the student Casual will include data entering and performing data quality controls as well as providing a supporting role at the research clinic administering questionnaires and/or physical performance tests, and accompanying research subjects through their appointments. This may also include picking up subjects in Washington Heights through study-sponsored transportation to and from CUMC. Thus, this position provides an opportunity for involvement in this clinical study at the Columbia site from different vantage points. She/he will perform other study related duties as needed. General Minimum Qualifications: Requires a bachelor's degree.
